Garlic Chicken Breast Recipe
Garlic Chicken Breast This is a great novel way of making garlic chicken and is always a big hit when we have a bbq. Marinating chicken is fine, but it is not the best meat for absorbing flavours whilst in an uncooked state. If you are a fan of marinating, this recipe can be prepped and left in the fridge for a couple of hours before cooking. Serves 6-12 Preparation Time 10 minutes Cooking Time 20 - 30 mins You will need: 12 large chicken breasts 1 tsp finely ground black pepper salt to taste 4 tbs of butter 1 crushed garlic bulb 4 tbs peanut oil I syringe with large gauge needle tinfoil Method: Heat the butter, garlic, salt & pepper in a pan slowly until it starts to simmer + 1-2 mins (stir continually). Suck up the liquid in the syringe and inject it into the chicken breasts. Make sure you inject each breast at least 4 times, dividing the liquid equally. Heat the peanut oil in a pan until very hot and add the chicken breasts for 5 mins per side. Paste the left over crushed garlic on the chicken breasts, wrap in tinfoil and put onto the BBQ for a further 15 mins on a medium heat area. Check to see when they are done by slicing open the side with a sharp knife and make sure the juices run clear. If preferred unwrap and brown off on the BBQ.
